A few months ago I was playing with the idea of doing an homage watch. As I'm a huge fan of the 1950 Marina Militare, and don't have a spare 14k to drop, I still wanted to do something cool. So I decided to go for it. All the specs on the watch are what I wanted. The strap is really nice too, and it is all hand done. (I should add that I had it made for me, but it's got me thinking about making my own soon) Very happy with this one!
Also, for any haters who think I'm trying to rock a fake PAM, that's why I wanted the face left blank.
And sorry for the shaky lume shot.

It's not a fake, it's a hommage since it has no branding. But we are not going to go there! That type of dial is referred
to as a sterile dial. Cool piece~!

Great looking homage, did you build it yourself? Enjoy it, ignore the haters, and wear it in good health!

Thanks guys! And no, I didn't build it, however I do want to build one soon. Thinking about doing a pocket to wrist watch conversion.

I have one just like it, but i went all black everything, had it re-lumed, and thats it for now.
I had a swiss movement in it, but that went to another project.
Homages are my kind of thing, but I have been slacking really bad due to workJEEP: The dirtiest of the four-letter words

Nice piece. I like the sterile dial.
I think as a whole, most of us here have been very positive about hommage pieces. So, I think you're safe.
Let me get pyschotherapy on ya though. Since you were immediately defensive about the "haters" and the "fake PAM"...... do YOU have an issue with wearing it?!?Un-Retired
