Default Should I get a Campanola?

So I've heard that Citizen USA has stopped carrying them, and a few retailers are offering the remaining stock at steep discounts. I remember seeing a burgundy model at the Tourneau Time Machine the last time I was in NYC, and it was pretty nice looking.

Any opinions on whether I should pull the trigger? I think a few members here have owned them.
    Watches:
    Lüm-Tec - M7, M23, M42, 500M-1, M23 custom, V1 Custom, Super B2, M61, V3, 300M-1XL
Seiko - Grand Seiko SBGA011 "Snowflake," Discus Burger, SPS003, Orange Monster, Kinetic (x2), SSC079
    Non-LT: Many
    On order: RGM 801, Lüm-Tec M54,
Pens: too many to count, but I'll mention my faves: McLaren MRB-850, Camelot, Divine Proportion, Visconti Homo Sapiens (cool pen, dumb name)

Blair owned one and atleast one other member owned one. I know Blair said he bought it in part because he liked all the high end features it had like minute repeater etc. I'm sure he'll comment when he sees the post.

Blownaway had/has one, but his was more of a collector/hard to find piece. Can't really recall.

I first got intrigued by them from an article in Watch or one of those mag's. Beautiful pieces. Case was a nice size. I absolutely hated the strap. It was very narrow and tapered dramatically. In fact, I had Rob custom build me a "fatty style", which helped.

The minute repeater was very cool as was the calendar (can't recall if it was annual or perpetual). It also had moon phase, IIRC. All in all it was a cool piece, but would not even consider it at retail. I'd say if you could get half off, it wouldn't be a bad deal. You'd still have a little trouble trying to sell without a loss, but if you enjoy the piece, then who cares if you lose a small amount.

They're selling them for 40-50% off, so it's right in that line.

Blair, I just did a little digging and read your comments on your old one. That's the same model I was considering. Oh well...if I get the watch, I'll look at getting a new strap for it...
