If you decide that you can wear the 1950s case, I'd say the 233. Has it all, and can be had for your price point used.

I've always had my eye on a 233...but has been higher than I wanted to spend on a Panerai. First I've got to get over the 1950's case size...then I'll deal with price difference between the 312 and 233!

How about Pam 48(40mm)? It looks great on my 7" wrist.

I love the size, with a medium size wrist I find myself not liking the small size of my Rolex Sub anymore. At the end of the day buy what you like, there are some great deals on Pams out there.

I think the extra money is way worth it!! I was gonna mention 233 if you got over the 1950 case size issue as well. 8 day manual with PR + AM/PM indicator really makes that dial pop.

One thing that I'm not sure about is the domed crystal. I was thinking I read somewhere that maybe the dome is higher on the 233? Not sure as I've never compared the 2 side by side.

My bad on the 90; thought I saw a pic of one that didn't have the cyclops.

I appreciate the suggestions guys...thanks! I need to try on the 233 and the 312 again. Maybe I was just crazy in the humidity of Florida a few weeks ago and the watch is a good size.

Just found a 321 which isn't bad either...

    Or the 320...
