Originally designed to meet the needs of extreme sports professionals, Bell & Ross watches have gradually become a reference in the exclusive world of swiss designer watch-making. Bell & Ross has been working with the automotive sector for several years, and on the occasion of the Geneva Motor Show (March 2010), the brand has invented an original dashboard clock for the new Peugeot SR1 Concept Car.





The Peugeot SR1’s dashboard clock was designed by Bell & Ross to be in perfect harmony with the spirit of this avant-garde Concept Car. When a wristwatch becomes a
dashboard clock The timepiece designed by Bell & Ross offers an innovative integration concept and features a unique style and materials. The watch and its band fit neatly into the dashboard to become a temporary on-board timepiece. Easily removable, the instrument immediately turns back into a wristwatch.





On the futuristic dashboard of the Peugeot, the Bell & Ross watch, the only analogue instrument, immediately catches the driver’s eye. It easily fits into a special slot on the dashboard. The watch case is cut from a block of steel and holds a three-dimensional face. During production, the digital machining facility designs a raised setting on the face. A feat performed thanks to avant-garde machining techniques. The monochromatic steel case and the leather wristband perfectly match the SR1’s interior upholstery.




Specifications

Stainless steel case measuring 46mm with AR-coated sapphire crystal. Water resistance to 100 meters. Movement is the Swiss automatic ETA caliber 2897 with power reserve complication. The strap is done in the same leather as the interior of the SR1’s upholstery.

Not digging that dial whatsoever, especially the ununiform etching.

I like the dial, would be cool with some other kind of metal

I was kind of over B&Rs when I sold mine but I got to say this is insane. I like it.
