Hublot All Black Skull Bang
Hublot recently announced their newest limited edition, this time collaborating with a long time partner and friend of the Hublot brand, Mr. Laurent Picciotto (photographed modeling the watch below). Based on the Classic Fusion, this rock 'n' roll themed timepiece features:
- 45mm polished and satin-finished all-black ceramic case
- Black galvanic dial with a "skull" transfer
- Sapphire caseback with another "skull" transfer, this time transparent with the movement visible through it
- HUB 1112 movement (automatic)
- Black leather strap stitched onto black rubber
- MSRP €9.900
The All Black Skull Bang is limited to just 100 pieces and is only available through their Saint Honoré Boutique in Paris. The Saint Honoré Boutique was opened by Mr. Laurent Picciotto in 2007 and was the first Hublot boutique in the world.

Of all of Hublot's offerings, I generally like the Classic Fusion line the most. That being said, the skull motif with this one is doing nothing for me.

Skull bang, euphemism for skull....is not the best name for a the watch. The way the skull is etched on the dial gives it a feel of a cheap $30 online skull watch. Hey atleast we got our hublot fix out of the way early this week.

I think the face and dial look alright but that strap doesn't go with the flow at all. Rubber would probably look better. It would be like wearing a rainbow ed hardy shirt with black pants from a tux.

Unfortunate name.
Do Hublot ever neatly orient the to bezel screws the way AP does, for example? Seeing them oriented every which way bothers me for some reason. Not OCD.

Should have left the skull theme alone...Bell & Ross already has one
