1950 Mercury Coupe (from the future)
1950 Mercury Coupe being built by Gary's Auto Collision Center in Southern California
Well a few years ago my uncle purchased this 50' Mercury Coupe from ebay with the mindset that he would transform it into the "Car of the Past From the Future"
This is how she looked when he went from SoCal all the way to Oregon to get her:

As soon as he got it back to SoCal he went to work on her
First step: Tear Down

Next Step: Goin' Hard in the Paint! (Part 1) The inside was painted in the candy apple red that the rest of the car is going to be painted in while the outside of the car got a base coat

Going HAM in the Interior?: Custom made center console with a Full white leather interior with red trim

That joystick next to the driver isn't for a manual transmission, that's the mouse to operate that monitor in the center console

Another monitor in the back because, racecar

Since this car doesn't have side view mirrors or door handles it has little monitors on the door panels that show directly behind the car through little cameras that are molded into the side view mirror areas and a little button to open the doorsLast edited by Imola e39; 12-29-2011 at 08:57 PM.

Needs new wheels. They do not fit the car at all.

I agree with the above...the wheels aren't fitting to the car. I think the stockers would look better than those.
