Yes it was a Macallen 25 in that image if I remember correctly.

Also good news! My intake which I ordered 5 months ago is finally going to ship this month! Car will be running and moving under it's own power before Thanksgiving!

I see you have a 95 GT. I had a 94 for a number years before I sold it to my brother. Car has a Trickflow kit + Procharger D1S waiting to be installed.

Wow... this is influencing me so badly to post up a thread about my current build... really nice job! Unfortunately for me it's a matter or spending money and not time

My car came looking like this though... damn pic is not uploading but here's a video if you're interested. Not a Ford but I'm definitely a Mustang fan aswell!

Builds always interest me! I love Bel Air's. What did you end up doing for an Engine / transmission combination?

Today is the day I work on the car, the brake lines haven't come in yet. Won't be here until Tuesday, so they will be installed this Saturday.

Packing up my camera now and off to where the car is stored... It'll be so much easier this Spring when I have a house with a garage to keep it at.

Nice work so far! I'm going to be starting on a '65 Mustang in a few weeks, so I'll be following your thread for inspiration.

Installed the trunk to get it out of the way. The fit isn't that bad! Especially for a 69 car!

Parents just moved into the house where I have my car. I have very limited storage for my car parts so I built a shelf on Sunday.

Brakes lines will be here tomorrow! I do have a full time job + the car is ~20 minutes away so lets see what I can do.

The phone pics are because it was pouring out and I only had a 50mm lens with me.

I also took the head off to inspect something so that took some time.

We got a 350 engine from a 1970 (approx) Corvette. We obviously tuned it and got a powerglide aftermarket transmission of a car that was build for drag but never actually ran since the owners ran out of money. I won't steal your thread so let's go on with yours.

I'm curious as to where you're getting your parts. Different companies or from a specific retailer?

All of my parts are USUALLY from Mustangs Unlimited. They have a warehouse in CT so most of the parts make it here next day. All of the body parts are New Old Stock (NOS). My father purchased them in the 70s/80s planning to build his own. A lot of these parts aren't available anymore.

I have a brand new steering wheel in the box from 1969 with the protective wrapping still on it. I've gotten offers for it for $2500+ for it but I'd rather have it on my car.

Default So I bought some brake lines

So my plan is to redo all the brake lines on the car.

Here is a new line next to the old line. The bottom is a cleaned up bracket and hose

Installed on driver side. The white dots you see is just dust buildup that has now been cleaned off.

Here is the crossover tube which goes from distribution block on the drivers side all the way to the flexible line for the caliper. Really a pain to get to fit correctly but it's installed

Brake distribution block taken out of my parts car 69 Mach 1
The small valve you see at the bottom has the tube seized in it right now. I'm soaking it for the week hoping to have it free up some. It's about $150 for a new one.

    cleaned it up a bit

    Installed

Took a break and went to F1 Boston to race some karts.

The fenderwell has a dent in it which cannot be pounded out. My choices are to replace the entire inner fender or fill it with bondo. I'm going to fill it.

Some bondo.... Trying to cover up the visible dent in the fenderwell

In primer drying, will probably add scratch filler to make it perfect sometime this week and paint it this weekend

Primed the front fenders to get them ready to go on the car
