If you don't mind asking how much did you pay for it?

    For which.

The car shell and the engine were all separate purchases.

The shell I got such a good deal on I traveled across the US to look at it.

I misunderstood FE meaning FE series motor, I was thinking FE as in Fuel Injection. I know, I know, FE vs. FI

I took apart the engine a few years ago and seemed to misplace the spacer between the engine block and bell housing. I need to find this part to install the engine this week.

Also I'm unsure if I can torque down the heads correctly while the block is in the car. The room is extremely limited.

Cool. I heard Ford Restoration Parts, partnered with Ford but not part of the company, has relationships with enough suppliers to deliver nearly all necessary parts to restore a 1964, 1965 or 1966 Mustang. Manufacturers the company works with produce parts under license to original specifications. The company put out a press release covering the subject before Father’s Day, according to AutoGuide, and also emphasized the 50th anniversary of the Mustang next year.

Through the various manufacturers that Ford has licensed to make the parts that partner with Ford Restoration Parts, 95 percent of the original parts are available including whole bodies, according to the Los Angeles Times, including highly desirable convertible models.

I need to update this thread. The car will probably be done next spring as I will not be driving it next winter. I'll have more pictures next weekend taken with a better camera. The engine is in, both fenders are primed. It's almost ready for paint. I had a intake manifold made and I'm still waiting for it to be cast and it has been 3-4 months.... Hopefully soon. I just picked up a goPro so I can record the first startup!

Here it is with the engine in!
