Luxury4Play's Coverage of 500 Miglia Touring 2012
Here is a photo editorial brought to you by Luxury4Play's Official European Photographer Simone Caldirola at Caldicarphoto.com. Enjoy.

Here is a little more about the event translated from Italian. In 1999 a group of friends gathered around a table talking about how nice it would be to combine their passion for vintage vehicles with an event that would be evocative and innovative in collection. Thus was born the 500 Miles. Evocative because the vintage vehicles look to a past that is gone now almost with regret and nostalgia. Innovative because 500 miles retracing old circuits but not born in the streets of 21.mo century without ever forgetting that the pleasure of guide goes hand in hand with the landscape that passes before his eyes. Cities, lakes, mountains, often snow-capped even in April, accompany us in this "journey" of a few days but of many emotions.
Never would have thought in these years to achieve so large a number of friends, because that's a look at who participates with us in this adventure, we agree that faithfully their trust and their affection. There are also many new faces, people who have heard of us and experiencing for the first time our event. We organizers feel a great responsibility towards all of them, both new and old friends because from year to year never sets our desire to surprise, to innovate and stay ahead of schedule. We do not hide the fact that organizing an event like ours is far from simple and involves a very considerable expenditure of time and energy, travel 800 miles in three days across four regions and especially so many cars with people, is a huge responsibility, But we are amply repaid by your esteem and countless testimonies of approval that you have against us.
The 2012 Indy 500 is already in an advanced construction and we encourage you to look at the new location and to register for taking advantage of favorable scouting for a limited period. In conclusion, thanks to all .... prepare the event.
