Thread: Sunny Isles or Brickell District? FL

I'm looking to go to Miami for the weekend in October to get away. Not sure whether I want to stay in Brickell or Sunny Isles. Does anybody have opinions or thoughts on where to stay in either?

Two very different places to stay, and it really depends on what you want. Not much going on in Sunny Isles, it's kind of an older demographic. But it is right on the beach. Brickell is very young and hip. Beautiful safe and vibrant area, much to do in the surrounding areas as well. I'd say Brickell hands down though, if you want to have any fun that is. If you just want to to sit around and relax and don't mind being far from the action, Sunny Isles.

I think we'll be staying in Sunny Isles because this is more of a relax themed trip. I'll be looking to take a trip down to south beach and brickell, any restaurants/lounges that are a MUST go?
