I've been on 4 cruises. 2 Carnival and 2 Royal Carribean. What are your ports of call?

I've been on 10+ Carnival cruises, as well as a variety of cruises on other lines. Enjoy the food, and the ports of call. Make sure you're back on the ship well before the posted departure time. Also remember, there's an influx of 3,000+ people in these ports on days ships call, be a traveler NOT a tourist. Stay safe, and enjoy your cruise!

I've been on pretty much every cruise line, Nothing beats royal Caribbean. Carnival is pretty good, ships aren't as nice in my opinion, but food is great, you'll have a good time no matter what!
My advice would be:
1. Get out of the touristy areas. You wont get a good idea of what the island is really like
2. At ports, don't book excursions, find them on shore, you will get them much cheaper
3. Get off the ship early, because you don't have much time on shore
4. Go to the shows every night, they are usually very good. (great comedians, newly wed show etc)
5. Talk to your room attendant, they can accommodate special requests
6. When they do the mandatory muster station drill, they don't find it funny if you go to the mustard station at the burger bar, or barracade yourself in your room with suitcases...
7. When you buy booze on shore, check it when you get back on. They scan your bags, but generally use the honor system that you will drop it on the table for them to check and return at the end. I saw a guy get caught by the room attendant, and got there ship keys got flagged and they couldn't get on/off the ship anymore.
8. Don't get stupid drunk, if you get retarded and they need to settle you down, your card will get blocked and you can't buy drinks for the remainder
9. As far as cigars, every ship I've been on has had a cigar barI build dream cars.

Don't parasail in PV.

I have been on a few. It depends on who your going with IMO. We always take in an activity at port and have a blast on the
adventures the cruises offer but like I said it really depends on who you go with. We did the ATV/Win Cruise in Mazatlan. That was fun!
