Thread: Anyone Hiked/Camped The Grand Canyon?

I took my wife to the South Rim of the Canyon last week and we both came to the conclusion that we want to head back and spend time hiking/camping/rafting it. Has anyone done it before? If so, what tourguide did you use and how long did you spend out there?

I'd love to do that too. My wife isn't normally into camping but she could feel the magic of the desert and canyons and knew she had to come back. I wonder if we could just do it alone???

I'm sure you could. I know there's one company that has a 6 day trip that includes the rafting (Class 6 rapids), camping and hiking. Not sure of the name but I'll track it down and post it when I find it.

Wow, that sounds amazing. Not too into rapids but definitely camping under the stars in the desert would be great... the purity...
