Steak 9ine in the Palms has a nice dinner that is per person for large groups. They give you your own room for the dinner. I will see if I can dig up the info for it. We did it a few years ago for a bachelor party.

Cool Here is the plan and ideas for you.

That's now a bad plan at all but i would do a minor changes to make it perfect, by staying at Wynn it's convenient just walk those two restaurants, Okada has amazing sushi, original taste of Japan, SW steakhouse is a must, the only better steakhouse is located Cosmopolitan and called STK.

When it comes to pool parties, I wouldn't recommend Wet Republic anymore, Encore Beach Club or Marquee Dayclub are the hottest pool parties in town.

When it comes to gentlemen's clubs, Sapphire is a MUST club, no doubt, best choice. The only better club is that is Spearmint Rhino but the girls are way too spoiled and push you to go VIP room for big bucks

As far as clubs, I woudn't recommend Tryst anymore, its sister club XS at Encore is the top club in Las Vegas at the moment, the same price as others, sometimes by calling a concierge companies like vegasvip.com (1800-VEGASVIP) can get you better table, somewhere near dance floor. Of course to get a nice table you have to buy bottle service, they have large tables for big groups. Also take a look at this Hangover bachelor party packages at BachelorVegas.com

There are only three other Vegas clubs that are as nice: TAO, Marquee and newly opened 1 OAK, if you are looking for a nice lounge to hang out during the day, check out Bellagio's new Ultra Lounge Hyde.

Just a second thought about bachelor party suites, you can also consider Cosmopolitan's suites, this is the only hotel that offers balcony where you are overlooking to Bellagio's fountain show and the strip.

Share with us your experiences please, we want to hear the stories.
    All the best.

I want to do something similar to what he pulled together for me couple years back:

    - Approximately 10 guys
    - We stayed in one of the Wynn Tower Suites
    - Wet Republic on Day 1
    - Okada Sushi Restaurant at the Wynn on Day 1
    - Big table at Sapphire on Night 1
    - SW Steakhouse at the Wynn on Night 2
    - Bottle Service at Tryst on Night 2

    Some additional factors:
    - We’re all around 30
    - Almost everyone will be solidly middle class re: income levels
    - Night 2 will likely be joint with the bachelorette party (not my call, so no need to debate it in here)
    - Everyone is from So-Cal, so travel is a non-issue

Thanks in advance for any and all tips and advice!

Default A great for a different bachelor party experience

Just had a great bachelor party experience at the Whisky Attic in Vegas by UNLV. The 11 of us spent about 2hours learning a new whiskey tasting method and tried a 6 whiskys that were new for us. The price was right at $60 each. After that we went out and did the normal bachelor party drunken things but what I remember the most is the Whisky Attic tasting. I will recommend it to my friends when I get back to SF. Their web site is Whisky Attic or phone is 702-609-6859.

Hey, I am re-kindling this old thread, as I am a long-to-be groom who will be having a bachelor party in about a year. The festivities listed in your thread is pretty similar to what I am very interested in. I'm curious how your 2nd trip went. I was trying to figure out how to just send you a private message, but failed to figure it out - and thought the "email" action was a little too forward. I'd also like to know the budget end cost, if you don't mind.

I am an over-active groom, who plans everything and worried that my free spirited best man mat drop the ball (but would be offended if I let another groomsmen plan it).

Hey bud...no problem at all. I'm actually "helping" plan ANOTHER one for this August!

A couple of thoughts...Vegas is expensive for dudes...period. So be prepared to spend some cash, and ake sure the other dudes are prepared to spend some cash as well. The one I planned for last March had a mixed group $$$ wise, so tey ended up being wet blankets half the time, even though we told them what we were planning to do.

For this trip, I'm trying to get alot of bang for our bucks. Cabana at a day club over bottles at a night club. A cabana is about $1,500 (i think) and includes some bottles, entry, some chips and salsa, etc. But you get the thing for like 7 hours...and pools tend to be more fun than dance floors for the group I'm going with. At night, bars and gambleing at the Cosmo, followed by the Artisan hotel, followed by Sapphire. Sapphire will come pick your group up ina party bus for FREE and may comp your entry fees (call ahead of time and do some schmozing!) Night clubs are hard for a group of dudes unless your willing to pay.

As for food, we did a "nice" dinner at Strip House, a steak place. It was a good value and fun. the 2nd night, dinner was on our own, which worked just fine considering peoples' $$$ issues. This time around, I'm pulling for a nice buffet one night, Wicked Spoon or Wynn.

    Thanks for the quick feedback.
First, so you know a little bit ab out my group -

Planning 8-10 people and most people will be 28 - 32 except potentially my brother who will be 21. The budgets vary with h alf the group willing to "pay what it takes" a couple people willing to go "all ou tto an extent" and then a couple people I would be concerned budget wise for a big weekend. I've been dropping hints to most of my close friends to "save-up" for a big weekend if they need to.

But yeah, that's my problem - I would be going with a group of guys with mixed budgets and/or misconstrued ideas of how much things should cost in Vegas. I'm trying to figure out hwo to avoid those "wet blankets", so I sort of want to put together a per-person budget and say this is what you need - or don't come. Harsh I know, but it's like come-on we're all late 20's and early 30's...

I am very interested on where you've booked a pool cabana in the past and your thoughts and opinions on each one, as that's actually one thing I haven't done in Vegas. Any recommendations?

Also, the last few times I went to Vegas usually a limo service will give you a kick-back to take you to the s-club for free/no cover - would this be different than contacting them directly?

What do you think about me taking the reigns for my own party, in lieu of my best man?

Last year we stayed at the former planet Hollywood suites (now called “Elara”) and it was cheap and really awesome!

We also got a table/bottles at the club at Paris on the roof under the Eifel Tower (Chateu i think?)...it ended up being a blast and way more affordable. The thing to keep in mind is to make sure everyone pays for their share ahaed of time...I ended up not getting paid for some stuff last time...and good luck collecting!

As far as day clubs, I've only done a few. Bare at Mirrage is cool and toppless, but small and more of a lounge. Rehab at the Hard Rock is huge, insane, and quite the scene, but sometimes attracts the wrong crowd. From what I understand, Marquee and Beach Club, and perhaps Tao Beach, are where its at. I saw on Yelp last week that a cabana at Beach club is $1,500, and goes from 12-7 pm.

The only problem i see with planning your own party is the money. Your bestman should be minimizing your expenses for this trip everychance he gets. IMO, you shouldn't have to pay for the day club, night club, strip club, or dinner. Maybe thats just me. It will be awkward to plan all this cool stuff and then turn around and ask peole to pay for you to do it.

Thanks for the help. I agree with the whole money thing. I don't mind paying my share though, if it means we can all have an awesome trip.

When you stayed at Elara, did you do a suite or adjoining rooms? I have 1-2 people in my group that never grew up and still think piling 8 guys in 1 basic room is the cool, lol. If you did get a suite, do you mind saying the cost? I was looking at the Hiltron / Elara site, but can't look that far in advance for my potential dates, but this year is looking like 407/night for a 2 room/2 king suite or 1500 for a 4 bedroom suite. Seems more logical to get 2-2 King Suites for 814 a night than 1 4 king suite for 1500.
