    Default Oktober fest questions...

So, me and about 7 friends will all be going to london for a few days, amsterdam a few days, then munich for oktoberfest for a few days!

Now, I need to know a few suggestions on places to stay from any locals, or anyone who has gone there.

we are also looking to maybe rent a few bikes, or nicer cars to take out on the autobahn as well.

    thanks in advance

    Define "nice" cars..?!

For average rentals I highly suggest Sixt if going to Munich. Munich Airport has the largest Sixt car rental station in all of Germany. They have fairly goods cars (we got a 760L and an XJR from them some time ago). To be on the safe side, just book a 5 series or higher and you shouldn't really have a problem going beyond 125mph. If they want to give you a 525i for example, ask them if they have a stronger engine available, because they see it in the system and can change the car at no extra charge.

For hotels in Munich there is a very broad spectrum. Just depends on how much money you wanna drop..I think the 4 seasons is the best one around town. The Mandarin is pretty good as well though!

I'm looking at going to Frankfurt/Munich for a quick 5 day trip and visit the Wiesn as well. Probably between 9/28-10/2. By the looks of it I'll be doing it solo, let me know if you've got room for 1 more to join you in Germany.

You need to book tents if you haven't already done so you will be sorry if you don't there are a few companies that broker out spots I've seen on line. If you can get P1 your money as far as car rentals I'm not 100% sure let me know your dates.
