Vancouver, BC
Hey Guys,
So I'm going to be visiting to Vancouver to spend a weekend with a girl I recently met in Miami at the end of the month. I've never been there and have no idea what exactly there is to do.
Since it's my first time really spending a lot of time with her I don't want to go too crazy spending money but I definately want to show her a good time and do the things that are absolute 'musts'.
Even though she does live there she has been asking what I'd like to do, etc. Could you guys give me some pointers as to where I should make plans restaurants, hotels, things to do/see both during the day and at night?
Thanks!

If this correlates with our age of consent question I'm disturbed.
Anyways...
You going to be driving/does she drive?
When are you going to be here? As that determines what will be weather appropriate or open.
Are you looking to adventure or moreso shop and stroll around downtown?
Also, are you 19+? As that will determine what you can do for evening/night fun.
The more specific you can be, the more I can help you out. Even so, more than likely because she lives here she will have things she wants to show you.

In my opinion whenever one travels to the other persons 'hometown' they are then designated the 'host/hostess'.
With that said they should be taking you around, making the reservations etc.
Maybe I'm old fashioned but shit only 21
Unless you guys are preteen neon glowstick jugglers who met at ULTRA then I'd go to the movies.
Either way, have fun and be safe!gR3 Survivor

Granville island is nice. So is Grouse mountain as you can take the Gondola up and enjoy the restaurant/ gorgeous view (on a nice day). Be aware that the ferry can get a bit pricey if you're driving, and is more of a full day excursion.

All good suggestions so far! ^^^^ I live an hour outside of Vancouver and depending on how much traveling your willing to do, there is some neat things to check out.
Fort Langley- great to walk around, check out all the shops, grab coffee etc..
Whistler village and the surrounding area
Capilano suspension bridge if your not afraid of heights
Granville island
Stanley Park and a walk around the sea wall is nice.
Gastown- Lots of little stores to cehck out and has a nice older feel (cobble stone street parts and such)
If you go to the island definetly the empress hotel and they have a wax musuem there thats kinda neat.
If your up for a 2.5 hour drive head East past hope and you could check out Hells Gate air tram.
I know there is a bunch of clubs and such in vancouver for partying in the night.
Food wise, Gotham Steakhouse is pretty popular and has its fair share of celebs eating there. Cin Cin is supposed to be pretty good too and I think its off or near Robson St.
