Honeymoon ideas on Relaxing Tropical Island??

We are planning our honeymoon for a week in May, and we are looking for a place to rellaaaxxxx with no kids on a relatively secluded island. We are both pretty busy and we are looking for a unique place to go. Both of us have been to Hawaii, and she has been to Tahiti. Trying to budget between $5000-$8000. Since we don't have too much time, we don't want to travel too far from L.A.

I have looked at:

Fiji - Likuliku with overwater or beach bungalows
Carribean islands? So many to choose from - Antigua, Turks and Caicos, Caymen islands, etc...
Would like white sands and clear waters with good service....

Also does anyone know of any good travel agents?
Help is much appreciated

Puerto Rico is nice. Lots of places to go and friendly people.

If you had more time, I would look into Bali. Flight is a bit too long for just 1 wk. I recommend the Four Seasons there.

Malta and Italy is another great choice too.

I really like El Conquistador in PR. I got a villa and stayed for a week. Great pool, casino, and food.

Yea Jade has a similar concept of open 4th wall and pool in room.

How was your overall stay? What beach did you go to? Any activities on the island you recommend?

I was in St. Lucia for my honeymoon almost 2 years ago. One of my favorite islands and Ive been to a ton of them. We stayed at Windjammer Landing, a villa with private plunge pool is the way to go. Private pool + Honeymoon = lots of good memories
