it's nice but pricey. make sure you're not doing a 1st class cabin (pointless) - but 57 euros/person/trip sounds about right - $300 total to get there & back

I took the Eurostar train. It was comfortable and a quick ride. I can't give you a price as I had a rail pass at the time.

Did it back in October 2007, bit over 2 hours. Better than the ferry and less messing around than airport (especially with the security headaches of Heathrow). But yeah was costly, Didn't buy a return ticket. From memory it was about $90 Euro London to Paris and $200 Euro from Paris to London. (Back then it was $1.00 AUD = .61 Euro, so it was a pretty expensive exercise).

Acela - boards from Waterloo if I remember correctly.

I took the 5am and arrived in Paris 830 am.

    I paid about a $100 r/t if i remember correctly.

I don't know what current prices are, but it is as effortless a way to get from London to Paris as there is known to man.

For info, re Ash K's post..... The Eurostar now departs from London St Pancras International, not Waterloo any more.
