    Default London

I am going to London next Tuesday Feb 22. I was wondering if anyone here have any tips as to weather, places to go eat, shop, etc.

    Would appreciate any tips.

    Thank you

Ive been there three times, and loved every moment. if you like art, check out the tate! if you like waffles, make sure you eat the liege waffles from the stands! tower of london was a lot of fun, and really interesting. Piccadily circus was cool, manchester united vs chelsea was the greatest thing ive ever seen live! ummm, dont waste your time to see the changing of the guard... its really lame.

be sure to take the tube, its an experience as well as the taxis. westfield mall was pretty bad ass as well. Burberry is cool to go to, as well as most of soho. harrods is amazing, and go on an empty stomach as there is a shit load of food to eat. The nike store is really cool as well. I will try to add more

    "Mind the gap!"

Saw changing of the guard just because. Like Mikey said, definitely not something you'll remember. I actually took a really cool double decker tour all through London, well worth the money, and I didn't have to shuttle taxi's all over. Saw everything I wanted in a few hours, and could hop on and off the buses when I wanted to see something for longer.

I'll have to get a list going for you. It was hotter than HELL when I was in london. Packed the WRONG way. Then I headed off to Scotland for a week, and it was more of what I was expecting.

I went there last summer for 5 weeks. Loved every second of it. The Absolut Ice Bar is really cool. You should also check out the Camden Locks marketplace.

I went during this time, and its cold! Not like a cold you know either. its is like a wet cold!

    what i did

    tower of london
    London eye ferris wheel thing
    dali mueseum
    westminster church
    harrods
    piccadilly circus/square and china town
    abbey road
took pictures in the phone booth
    the tower bridge tour

Now what i loved that no one told me

Mcdonalds-its unlike anything here. tastes good!
canned rum and coke, and vodka cranberries
    bella italia-great food
Paul-very old, and great food as well
liege waffles. i can not explain them, as we dont have them here in the states
camden lock-its just something you have to see to believe(google it)
taxi ride, tube(subway)ride, and double decker bus rides
the pubs and the beer-its amazing
i went to a noble dealership, fiat, and another. very cool to see
nike store-its amazing, as long as you like soccer(which is football)
puma store was really cool as well
Harrods shopping center-this place is unlike any store in the US. its huge! and all luxury
westfield mall-its like an indoor rodeo drive
