    Default San Diego Hotels

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

Going to be in San Diego in April. Plan on doing all the tourist stuff in a couple of days. Can anyone recommend a hotel?

I proudly live in San Diego, and I recommend the Hotel Del Coronado. It has a lot of history, however, you will have to cross over a long bridge and there is a lot of traffic there. If you don't want to deal with much traffic, I recommend Paradise Point. It's a nice little resort in Mission Bay that is 5 minutes from Sea World and many of our beaches. Glad I could help!!

+1 for the Hard Rock, only place i stay in SD. Right at the end of the Gaslamp district and down the street from Petco Park. Regardless of where you stay, you have to go to The Tin Fish restaurant really good food across the street from the Hard Rock every time i drive in thats the first stop.

I've stayed at the Grand Hyatt in San Diego 3 times now. I would definitely recommend it.

Stay in North County Unless you have business downtown.

Check out the Del Mar Marriot or the Del Mar Best Western

I agree. I've stayed at most of the hotels (Hotel del Coronade, Westin, Omni, etc.) and I have to say that the Hard Rock was hands down my favorite. If you're there on business and have to get some sleep in, then request a room away from the bar/lounge that goes on at night.
