    Default Best Shows in Vegas?

Heading to Vegas during the July 4th weekend and looking to catch two shows with my family... can anyone recommended some good shows?

We were thinking of watching Circus De Soleil and the Criss Angel Show. Also, a 12 year old will be joining us as well.

    Thanks for suggestions!

Lion king, by far best show, and the kids will know every minute of it, but get tix in advance, good ones go quick. You will be happy,

chris angel is the worst show in town. save your time.

The best cirque shows in town depend on what you want to see. In my opinion, Elvis and Love are the two best overall. Mystere is a great cirque show if you want to see the visuals, acrobatics, etc. O is the same. KA is great stage visuals.

The Lion King is always good as well and kid friendly. I am not sure what shows allow 18 and under, I guess I never really thought of it?

I would also recommend Terry Fator, Blue Man Group, etc.

Where are you staying? Rather than paying full price, check out tix4tonight. They have several locations on the strip and great prices on tickets. Keep in mind, if you are looking for front row, the box office is the place to go; these tickets are usually comp seats or extras the casinos have.

If you are looking for shows sans the kid, one I saw recently and found to be surprisingly intruiging was Crazy Horse Paris at the MGM.

July 4th will be a busy weekend. Hope you enjoy your trip out here!

I was in Vegas last weekend and saw "LOVE" at the Mirage - I couldn't say enough good things about this performance. I highly recommend seeing the show and if you do, be sure to request Balcony Seats - I know this sounds unusual but the performance has a lot of aerials which can be seen best from up top - if you sit by the stage you'll strain your neck looking up.

Have fun with whatever you end up doing.

**edit: balcony seats are half what you'd pay down below

Cirque Du Soleil, without a doubt.

I would run far, far away from Criss Angels Believe show. If you dont believe me google the reviews...

I would see Ka at the MGM, which is my favorite show. Beatles Love is cool, but if your kid isnt into Beatles music, could be a slight turn off. But you cant go wrong with any of them, they are all family friendly except for Zumanity. They have some killer deals on the Cirque Du Soleil website right now for tickets, you may have to join the online club, but its free and just takes an email address.

Cirque Du Soleil - nuff said!

It was absolutely amazing. When my family first said, we are going to watch it, I was like wtf - a circus? Monkeys, Elephants and Clowns, I think I am to old for that. Little did I know.

It started of amazing and the show never lost me, there was always something more incredible coming up.
Didn't get my mouth shut staring at the show.
