    Default Vegas 5/23 to 5/25

    Hello,
I will be in Vegas on 5/23 to 5/25.

I am thinking about staying at the MGM Grand or The Palms.

    What would you recommend?

Someone else staying in Vegas during that time?

    Thanks,
    Dan

How old are you? What are you looking to do while you're out there?

I've stayed in almost every suite at the MGM... the bad ones are BAD (worse than a Motel 6), but the Skylofts are fairly decent. Never stayed at the Palms so I can't comment on that. I'm partial to the Wynn/Encore, but that's just me.

FYI you're heading out a week early. Memorial Day Weekend is when all the fun happens...

    Enjoy!

    Just how I like it.

I seriously can't wait. Thank god I'll be at the Encore, away from most of the madness. Actually what am I saying - Surrender and Encore Beach Club open that weekend.

    Party time!!

I am not too worried about the Hotel and the Palms and the MGM had good offers. So which one is better?

I have to go to the ICSC ICSC - International Council of Shopping Centers so I cannot choose which weekend I can go.

I fly in from Europe on Sunday and I have to go to an event on Sunday night at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Monday I have meetings at the show and Monday evening I am not sure yet. Tuesday I fly out again.

    Thanks,
    Dan

    Skip MGM.
Palms if you want the hot hot spot for clubbing, (Rain / Ghost) and more lively / younger crowd.
Wynn / Encore if you're looking for luxe.
Wynn is by far our favorite. Clean, elegant, and impeccable service.

Just a heads up for you for Sunday!!! there are currently 6-8 hour delays in and out of Vegas for Europe!!!! ( Volcano ash ) Take that in mind for your sunday evening event!
On the hotel side of things Planet Holywood are doing some good deals at the moment too and its in the right place on the strip to get to anywhere you want to go. Palms a bit set back off the strip!

I thought there are no delays anymore but i will check. Thanks.

Also I have looked at The Mirage and I have also checked out Planet Hollywood are both good alternatives.
After reading some reviews from MGM and The Palms I will skip.

    Thanks,
    Dan

I had friends that came back on tuesday Dan and they were delayed 8 hours but on the plus side the flight which usually takes 10.45 hours only took 8.25 hours! the pilot must have been hauling ass lol
Flights in and out of London are still on an average 6-8 hour delay. Its a bit of a lucky dip if you get out on time at the moment!
If your booking online ebookers are doing the best deals at the moment! check them out. I hope that helps some and enjoy your trip....
