Default Leave Sunday for Nassau WIN!

My girl and I are taking a trip to Nassau for a few days, needed to get away and de-stress of a bit. A lot going on in both our lives so we thought a few days of warm weather would cure that.

We aren't staying at a resort or in the middle of the tourist area, we booked a small condo on the Eastern Side of the island away from everything, more in the "locals only" area. Should be nice to just unwind for a bit! I know this isn't for everyone but we would rather do something like this than a crazy resort.

Here is where we are staying: Baycroft Bahamas is A Vacation and Executive Rental Condominium on Nassau

I recommend checking out the PooPoo Deck over on the mainland for some amazing stone crab claws.... Also recommend the steak house in the Atlantis. The name is escaping me right now.

Last time I was there I wanted to check out the PooPoo deck just didn't get a chance. We might hit Nobu in the Atlantis and maybe The Ocean Club for Lunch. The row of shacks, Erwalk Key (sp?) has amazing local cooking, conch fritters FTW! and we will also hit this small beach food truck that has amazing lunches for like $8 within walking distance of our place

I was there about two months ago. Good times. Best restaurant was Dune at the One & Only on Paradise Island.

Got a little too close for comfort with some sharks off the east coast of Nassau...I have to find the pictures.

Bahamas is amazing. Kalik and conch fritters at the fish fry are always the sh*t.

Try out the powerboat adventures to exuma. It was an awesome experience and certainly one of my favorite travels.

The friendly locals also set the tone. Enjoy!

I’m jealous, but have fun Mike and let the waves cleanse your stress.
