    Default San Francisco Recommendations ??

I'm taking my girl to Healdsburg, CA for a wine event at the end of the month. After that, we are going to stay at the Clift Hotel in San Francisco for a few days. I'd like to spend one day doing the touristy thing and check out the usual suspects, i.e. GGB, Alcatraz, Chinatown, etc. After that, we'll be looking for some other things to do.

Can anyone recommend any restaurants, bars, or places in general we should go while we are in town ? Thanks in Advance !

Plouf is a causual dinning place great for mussels. Go there is weather is good and you can sit outside. It's near union sq.

If you cross the gg bridge, i recommend muir woods and sausalito.

Drive down to carmel if you have extra time to kill. Stop by the ritz in half moon bay on ur way down.

I would recommend going down to the marina/chestnut street. Some great bars/restaurants over there. It is definitely one of my favorite parts of the city.
