Default Going to Boston, recommendations?

My friends and I are going to Boston and Salem for Halloween this year and we are looking for some ideas/ clubs/ restaurants to rep. in. We are staying at the Liberty which looks amazing! Of course we will be going to the major tourist places- Cheers, Boston Aquarium, Museum of Science, Freedom Trail, and the churches. Was hoping to catch the Red Sox play but no luck. We also want to do a pub crawl. Thank you all and look forward to your suggestions!

you will like the Liberty. Within walking distance from there is a small restaurant on Cambridge Street called Antonio's, one of the best secrets in Boston...Salem on Halloween is off the hook!

You mean the Red Sox.

My favorite place to stay in BOS is CharlesMark hotel. My fav places to eat is Oleanas / Kashmir / Aujourd Hui at FS.

Most of the lounges there are mediocre compared to Chicago but I do enjoy Gypsy bar, Velvet, Caprice and Vox right on Boylston.

Love Boston. It is a good place to be next to San Francisco, except Boston has history. Going to the Grannery graveyard and try to imagine NONE of the modern buildings there, just low lying buildings, the North Church, being able to see Bunker Hill 1/4 mile away, being able to see the entire bay.

Skip the "Tea Party Boat".... you'll be disappointed.

I've been there twice and can't wait to go again. If you want to really get away, head over to Marthas Vinyards.

It has a nasty habit of burning down as of late. Late 90's the museum was struck by lightening and burned down. Boats were moved up north somewhere while it was rebuilt. Last year when it was about to be completed it caught fire again and burnt to the water.

Liberty is a nice place to stay and have drinks. Pick up an Improper Bostonian (Free Magazine) when you get in town to see what's going on at the local clubs. Ask your hotel to see if they have a copy or can get you one. I think duck tour season is over but the hop on/off orange & green trolley's are usually a great way to get some history and get acclimated.

Food: Within walking distance (well that relative because everything is within walking distance in Boston) king & I has good low price Thai at the head of Charles St. My personal fav. is 75 Chestnut. Walk down Charles and make a right on Chestnut and you will find it.

I live a few blocks from the Liberty so if you have any questions send me a PM.

Awesome guys thank you for the suggestions! 75 Chestnut looks awesome as does Antonio's!! The girls and I are really excited to go to Salem for Halloween. The only thing we know about are some parties that are going on that are $90 cover (no big deal on the price) but are there things that you all can recommend for Halloween night?
Again thank you!
