Ten Bugatti Veyron in front of the Golden Gate Bridge
I would like to share the most fantastic car experience I had this year.
As you might know I spent a 3 week holiday in the USA this summer. On our third day in San Francisco we planned to take some shots of the Golden Gate Bridge in the fog. So we drove to the hills above but we didn’t see anything – except for heahy fog.
Because of this we decided to drive to a small harbour below the GGB. When we arrived we saw a table with some champaign glasses on it – and a cake looking like a Bugatti Veyron. Next to the table there were two Touareg Hybrid with two girl in it wearing Bugatti jackets. We asked them what is going on. They told us they arent allowed to tell us but we should wait like 30 minutes.
This was what we did and after a few minutes there were seven Veyrons arriving!
-Bugatti Veyron Coupé in blue/black - CA
-Bugatti Veyron Coupé in black/black - UK
-Bugatti Veyron Coupé in grey/grey - Switzerland
-Bugatti Veyron Coupe in silver/grey - CA
-Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport blue/blue - France
-Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport silver/silver - CA
-Bugatti Veyron Super Sport Blue Carbon - CA
They all parked in a row with their backs turned towards the GGB. We heard that some of the people were talking German. So we had some interesting talks to a German couple (driving the blue Grand Sport) and the leader of the Bugatti engineering division. At the same time there were to more Veyron arriving.
-Bugatti Veyron Coupé red/red - CA
-Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport white/white - CA
-Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport white/white - Germany
After they all parked we were able to take some shots of the complete group. The German couple told us that this event is called the “Bugatti Grand Tour”. A five day trip towards Pebble Beach Concours. They also let us take pictures of the roadbook. So we had their route.
The group was leaving now and we tried to follow in our Nissan Altima rental car . For about 15 minutes we had succes. Then they turned on some twisty roads and after some fast overtaking from the Veyrons we were not able to follow anymore. Afterwards we lost orientation and found ourselves on the highway one above SF. So we decided to have lunch at In and Out and then drive 120 miles to the Napa Valley where the group had the hotel for this night. After some minutes we got together with the group again.
More pics to come!
Hope the long text with my bad English wasn´t to annoying

That must have been quite an adventure! Haven't seen a Veyron irl yet.. i don't think there are anyone registered in Sweden atm. The grey one had a decent registrationplate - Ferrari for dinner! Thanks for the pictures! Any videos?
