Dollar for dollar the Venom GT is garbage.
People who always trash talk the Bugatti, have either 1. Never worked on one 2. Ridden in one 3. or had one blow by you when you're doing 170mph in an M5 and it makes you feel like you're going backwards, watch the air-brake come up, and watch what looks like God slow the car and save the occupants from certain death from slamming into the back of other motorists.
It sounds like a jet, built stronger than a tank, and rides better than a RR, is bonkers fast, and can stop time with its CC/air Brakes.A world where medical advances allow us to live forever is a terrifying thought...

I agree there are many alternatives to the Veyron, but man...that article was one of the worst I've "read".

I did not like any of the 7 cars mentioned...
At least mention an Aston One-77, Ferrari Enzo/FXX, Lamborghini Reventon, McLaren F1, MBZ SLR 722S or CLK-GTR, Porsche CGT, Pagani Cinque or Huayra, Koenisegg Agera R...something at the level of a Bugatti. HAHAHA!!! But really, you can't go wrong with a BUG!CURRENT

I don't have to see the car perform to know it is good at what it does. It is an engineering masterpiece controlling 1,000+ HP, etc, etc.
The car is just not my style, and I could never justify a car with 16 cylinders and 4 turbos!! I would like to see what the Bugatti can do with a TT V10 or a N/A V12 but that is not what the Bugatti is about (think about it: really ANY car can be amazing with 16 cylinders and quad turbos! lol). I can respect the Bugatti for being an extreme car with many great performance measures, but I think it has no purpose to exist except to litter every forum with 100s of threads on the same subject and to be a super rich man's toy/show-off mobile. But isn't that what all supercars are about? I guess I am not a big supercar fan."It is better to be good than to be original...Less is more." --Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

None of those cars you would feel SAVE doing 200+... Bugatti is comfortable and it just feels like your doing 140 instead of 200... doesnt shake or vibrate much... i bet those light weight big engine cars wouldnt feel like that...

I was never a fan of the original Veyron; I like the SS much better; it looks better and I like the fact that it looks sportier inside, which helps with the fact that despite the bentley esque interior of the 16.4, it still is rather loud inside. With the Alcantara and carbon it takes that away and I like that!
The cars in this list are utter BS though. None of them even remotely compare to the Veyron and it's build quality. And we're not even talking about the speed. The veyron is a Veyron because of how effortlessly it gets to its speed and how seemingly gently it does so. The hennesy comes close; but only in price. Apart from that it's more like an Ultima; kit car with a big chevy V8. I have little doubt that if you floor it at 250 km/h it would go on towards it top speed without first laying two fat lines of precious rubber and not trying to crash into the nearest telephone pole. The Veyron will comparatively whisk you towards its goal at this point.
Cars that would compare in my opinion:
Koenigsegg CCX to the Agera R
Pagani Zonda F and variants
Pagani Huayra
And that's it.
Personally I would choose a manual Zonda Cinque with a 760RS upgrade over any of them, but that's because I have a severe weakspot for them, much like others have for Koenigseggs and Veyrons.
