yes 60 round trips is a lot. Unless you are a daytrader then its quite easy to make the trades as often Ill buy a stock then scale out of the position in 1/2s or 1/3s so 1 trade could count as 3-4. if you dont make it it costs 125 for the platform fee. The real advantage of using a prop firm is to be able to daytrade withunder 25k. You only need 5k. If you can daytrade and have more then 25k then ameritrade, or ib brokers have much nicer tools.

Ah, that makes more sense now. What about trading fees? That's my biggest killer using Scottrade at the moment, it makes me less nimble and erases a good chunk of profit margin on smaller trades. I also don't have 5 grand yet to trade, your platform looks amazing though!

its in the middle of the range of most brokers. 6.50 a trade there are a few brokers that are in the 3-6 dollar range that ive seen like sogotrade and optionshouse. They lack good tools to trade but if your not active and dont need a top of the line platform they work really well. Especially if your not trading every single day then price is more important then execution and tools.

Wanted to put in a plug for ya'll for calling DEXO as a breakout stock, it shot up 20% today. Unfortunately, I did not place a limit order the night before to take a position and after all was said and done, it was too late in the rally. Do you think there is more upside in the cards? It looks like the end of trading today was a pullback with a bit of sideways movement before moving higher. Volume doesn't look favorable to me as an indication this trend will continue though, what you you think?

usually these things go for 1 -2 days max this stock is a terd. i tend to not hold it overnight as it can have weird news at any moment but great daytrading vehicle. might have more upside.not sure will need to see hwo it opens!
