    Default College Football 2011-12

    I didn’t see a recent college football thread on here…so here it goes…

    Tailgating at my house for the friggin’ women’s World Cup on Sunday like it was the Rose Bowl made me realize how much I miss College Football!

    Hopefully, we can have some friendly debates in this thread and talk about each week’s match ups, etc.

    So, until the season starts…I figured we could call out our squads, and maybe trade some predictions for the upcoming season. I know I could go to a sports forum, but 1) most the dudes on those sites are way too crazy for me 2) I love L4P and its members and it has a “sports” section and 3) I’m too lazy to monitor more than 1 forum!

    Start it off: My wife and I are USC athlete alums and are now HUGE fans. We have had season tickets for a few years now and go to at least 1 road game per year. (ND this year!)

    My school is going through its share of issues, and this recent Marc Tyler mess is just stupid. USC Trojans suspend Marc Tyler for inappropriate comments - ESPN Los Angeles University of Sexy Ballers?!? C’mon, bro!

    We are no fair weather fans: I committed to John Robinson and USC in 1997, played in 3 bowl games in 5 years, and only won one bowl game! So I know what it was like before Bush graced us with his presence.

    This season: Hell…I don’t know WHAT’S gonna happen this season!!! My guess today is that Wisconsin and Texas will be legit.

    GO GREEN!

    Probably no BCS bowl, but I'm a big fan and love the atmosphere of the stadium and the other fans. Coming from Ann Arbor, i've seen how snobby and stuck up the U of M fans can be. I'd still choose U of M over many other teams though, just for the prosperity of the state of Michigan.

    Anyone interested in a College Football fantasy league, L4P style?
