Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro this weekend!
Hey all, I am off to Tanzania to climb one of the big seven this weekend, Mount Kilimanjaro! Over the past 6 months I've raised just under £5000 for charity through sponsors and also helped raise a lot of awareness about the charity I am supporting by visiting local schools, Childreach International.
I really wanted to get myself fit this year and earn some good karma so to speak and needed some incentive. I have trained hard for the past 5-6 months and feel great compared to the way I felt around christmas, I cant wait to start climbing and meet the 25 other people I'm doing it with!
Now that the hard part of raising the money is complete, onto the mountain!! I will post pictures of my trip on my return in a few weeks, wish me luck!

Very cool! Good Luck and have fun. Had a friend attempt a few years ago got altitude sickness.

haha ok I will try to remember, but apparently you become really stupid when your that tired and at such high altitude so I may forget!
