Weidman trains at the gym near me hes no joke. He straight up murdered munoz. Munoz landed 0 punches 0 takedowns the whole fight. weidmans wrestling is by far one of the best in his class, his transitions are unreal but needs to work on his stand up tremendously if he even thinks of stepping in there with anderson.

So did you guys see the free fights yesterday. Munoz v Weidman. Munoz got destroyed. Weidman looked pretty darn good.

He always looked good despite his fight w/ Maia was kinda so-so. He has the skill and weapon(s) to take Anderson on.

ALSO: Strikeforce tomorrow night and it's getting no coverage since UFC bought them. A slow death.

You also said Munoz had a chance. Well let me tell ya, Weidman doesn't have what it takes either. Not for a good long while atleast.

Strikeforce is to the UFC what minor league baseball is to the pro leagues. The UFC needs a place that they have more control over to cultivate new talent for the big show. Where are people gonna go when they are working their way up, the luke rockholds, the daniel cormier's, where do keith jardin's of the world go? The Marquardts? people slightly past their prime go to support their families. You don't buy an entire franchise just so you can kill it off. Their are cheaper ways of doing that.

Going forward: Looking to see how Hector Lombard's UFC debut this coming Saturday turns out. I like Faber - but I don't think he stands a chance w/ Barao. A once killer card that went so-so.

Have you seen lombards fights, he's a beast. He came out and fought like Anderson Silva show boat style. He didn't even try. Boetsch looked like a fat guy they pulled from the local rib shack. Lombard won but they gave it to Boetsch, even he thought he just won the lottery and couldn't believe it. I'm glad they robbed Lombard, we didn't bring him into the UFC to play fight.

A great FREE card!! I picked all the winner(s) for the main card. Looks like Machida will get the crack at the title shot next. A nice KO.

I wasn't all that jazz'd about this card. But, i must say those were some damn good fights. Even better that they were free.
