We've all been busy to some degree - thus the lack of action in this thread.

Well, it's fight week! Should be fun leading to this Saturday's big-ass card.
Many news to touch on:
Anderson VS Okami is on for the Rio card.
Rashad VS Phil Davis is on tap for UFC 133 *Jones got injured.*
Jason Miller has just signed to the UFC.''Live as if you were living a second time, and as though you had acted wrongly the first time.'' - Viktor E. Frankl

i've been reading conspiracy theories about this on mmajunkie all day. people are saying that jones is faking the injury because he is either afraid of evans or still thinks of him as a brother and doesnt wanna fight him. it's all pretty funny bs but it is kinda sad cuz i think jones vs evans would've been (will be?) a much better fight than evans vs davis. anyways will see.
psyched about this saturday!

Toronto of course. Just a stones throw away from the fight venue. The expo is taking place at the direct energy centre.
Still weighing if I should sit in on BJ Penn's seminar.

Wish I was in TO... Tickets sold out so fast, stuck here in London with exams until tomorrow too.
So excited for that fight, probably would be half a mile away in the Skydome anyways! 55, 000 people!"Whatever you're thinking, think bigger." - Tony Hsieh

^ Don't feel bad. I'm not seeing the fight live in person. Just going to enjoy the expo and take in the fight at a buddy's BBQ.
I don't think mixed martial arts fights can be enjoyed in a major stadium. I prefer slightly more intimate settings. A hotel/casino is ideal.

Agreed. I opted out of the Bell Centre because my buddies when the first time and said they watched on a projector screen in the stands because they were so far away. But amazing atmosphere. I can only imagine in the Rogers Centre... So huge.

yeah unless you are sitting in the first few rows, it ain't great. i was at HP pavilion for Emelianenko vs Werdum fight last summer. the atmosphere and the energy in the place were great (until the very end) but for watching the fights, i'd rather be on my couch in front of my big tv
