okay, so right now it looks as though denver got the better end of this deal...but we all know the knicks will work it out eventually and become an elite team with two true superstars.

the big question is will they be able to do it in time? look how long it took lebron to gel in miami!

    NYK...playoff bound or playoff bust?????????

No, too small inside. Their point guard can't defend a quick guard, and can't break down a defense. They play from 30' away from the basket...not built or coached for a half court game.

I agree 100%. Also, too much 1 on 1 scoring from the stars. We can't expect magic over night, but this just makes me eager for the 2011-12 season.

    agreed.
speaking of magic though...i think they may surprise a few people and come out with a W tonight.
funny article in the newsday...something about being very dangerous in the playoffs as no one can scout them if they do not know what they are doing themselves!

I think they need a new coach. Went to the Knicks/Celtics game last week and was saddened to see the Knicks just give up. And on the Knicks, PG, I think Chauncey is still one of the league's better PG. I liked Felton better, but certainly Chauncey is capable of competing with the best of them.

Love Chauncey...great clutch shooter, but he can't guard anyone, and can't run D'Atoni's offense. Agree on a new coach, he's so wrong for this team.

Well just check out Stoudemaire's numbers lately, compare them to the numbers before Anthony joined NYC and you'll know what is the real thing. You have two volume scorers, who will mostly keep up their numbers, but with a lower shot percentage. They don't have a C to cover the defense, even though Ronnie is a good choice on that position, but as Anthony is well known for his defense or lack thereof it will be pretty much impossible to go all the way with this team.
