If i remember correctly, you have to have won the tournament, or be a big guy in a big company soooo i would try and ask any of the guys on the list.. Plus Augusta is the precision of golf courses. they have the most highly manacured grass youd ever see with the most green a golf course could have so idk how you think it was no big deal haha. its the ultimate golf course period!

I know plenty of people that would pay anything to pay Augusta National. Its just not going to happen. I know several high-profile pros and this is what I have drawn:
-If you ask to join or ask someone to "throw your name out there" its NEVER going to happen. Kind of like a ban.
-For many members, if you ask to play, they will in turn never invite you.

Its just crazy to ever get a round there.

Augusta National is the cream of the crop. There may be other courses that are nicer (especially in the likes of the S. Carolina), but none hold the prestige (ok, maybe St. Andrews) of what Augusta represents. And if $25k is all they ask their members to pay for their initial fee, that is not bad at all. NGC costs well over 6 figures just to start with them.

Aside from that, good luck, on getting a round there. It can happen, you just have to meet the right people. A bunch of guys I grew up playing golf with are pros now, but they have told me about times where their fellow pros and instructors had been invited to play. Gluck.
