The saga is finally over for me - at least I have closure (I'm a lifetime Nuggets fan).

The Carmelo Anthony trade saga is finally over.
The Nuggets traded Melo to the New York Knicks tonight, a league source said. Denver gets Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov, the Knicks 2014 first-round draft pick, the Warriors' 2012 second-round pick, the Warriors' 2013 second-round pick and $3 million in cash.
Anthony will go to New York, along with Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman.
Anthony was not at the Nuggets' practice as the team resumed workouts following the All-Star break.

Wow! This should be interesting to see how this plays out.
I'm not sure how Melo is going to fit into D'Antonis style of offense. Both Amare and Melo are going to command the ball, and I'm not sure they have the shooters now to space out the court. I honestly think the Nuggets got the better end of the deal.Jeff Creech Photography

The biggest short-term issue for the Knicks is Billups running point - he 100% does not fit D'Antonis system - he's walks the ball up and calls set plays. It really is going to be interesting.

Waiting to see if Denver is done trading. Lots of chatter about a trade with the Nets of some of the former Knicks. J.R. Smith has been a target of trade talks, as well as Nene. I wouldn't be surprised if a few more trades involving the Nuggets go down this week.

They are definitely not done - more moves are coming. They wanted to get this deal done today so they had 72 hours to complete their moves.

Even with Carmelo, I still think that the Knicks won't make to the NBA Finals.
