Thread: ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

Oh boy, i can't wait to see how popular this thread will be on this forum Either way, it is a sport and there are alot of die hard followers (like myself so i made this topic follow the World Cup that starts on the 18th. The warm up matches are going on as we speak.

So who do you think is gonna win this year?

^ Haha, Australia is struggling at the moment against South Africa in the warm up game, they've made 217.

On another note Pakistan made 285 against Bangladesh in the warm up, but as always with Pakistan matches you can never tell until the last moment who wins..

But seriously, i hope India doesn't win

So Pakistan won quite easily in the warm up game last night, while Australia is not looking good this year, they've lost both warm-up games.

Also keep an eye out for Sri Lanka, those guys are unpredictable.

I used to be soooo addicted to watching this. You have no idea.... around 2000.. then I stopped. LOL!

Never write off the aussie's! It's good to see punter and clarke making some runs.

Its the wrong time zone here. Games start around 730 pm.

Im usually at work at the times but i'll take days off for 'some' matches.

Wrong time for me was when Pakistan was playing New Zealand in NZ...the matches used to start at 4am in the night.

Would love to see punter make some runs, he really does deserve a send off of heroic proportions. His records are unsurpassed by any Australian Batsmen.

I think India are going to be hard to top, but we can do it, look for Watson and Johnson to be highlighters i reckon.
