...fore!
So does anyone else here golf?
I'm newly getting into it, and I'd like to get a decent set of clubs and whatever else I may need.
I've been looking into some Callaway clubs, but I'm sketchy and unsure on what style of clubs to get to begin with.
What material: wood, standard, eh?
I've been itching for this Chicago winter to go away so badly I'm already preordering everything I want to do this coming spring!
Bike, car, golf, and the list goes on..

Started when I was 13 years old.
Always test the clubs you are going to buy. Dont look at the price or how cool the clubs are, just take the ones that fit YOU. You need to be comfortable with them.
Take lessons a few times a year to enhance your swing. One has to understand that you cant perfect your own swing on your own. Remember to practice a lot, dont just walk around the course hitting your ball endlessly
One more thing, Golf is the most irritating game in the world, 90% of it is between your ears

Been playing since I was 6.
Head over to one of your nearest golf shops and try out some clubs, if you're just getting into the sport i'd try to keep the prices relatively cheap....
But if you want to go all out, the irons I use are the Callaway fusions. They're a great set of clubs and I play with them on the school team here. They've lasted me a long time and are pretty durable
Practice makes PerfectDon't wish it were easier, wish you were better.

Do you have a large golf store near you? most these days have fitting machines and will check your swing speed and other paramaters and fit you with clubs that will improve your game.

Thank you everyone, I'll try and go to a few stores and test out a number of them.

Good luck with the search. There are so many good clubs on the market nowadays. As the others have mentioned best to try them out and see what feels best for you. Being fitted is also a good idea. Then its just practice, practice, practice. Have fun!
