Is it true Silva credited one of his trainers, Steven Seagal, for teaching him that kick…he was actually ring side too.

Yes, during the post-fight press conference Silva gave a lot of credit to Steven Seagal for working on and perfecting that kick and various other moves with him. Seagal has been ringside with Silva during his last couple fights.

I got all my picks! Cerrone, Torres, Jones, Griffin, and Silva.

What a card! Such a sick event, awesome with Jones vs Shogun coming up too. Afterwards I went downtown and was partying with UFC fighter Sam Stout too! Had to hold him back after some guys started a fight with our group. Dude walks WAY bigger than 155lbs. Really nice too.

Anyone coming to UFC Toronto? Gonna' be soooo huge. I'm torn if it's worth it because the Roger's Center is so damn big. Might be better to stay home and watch.

    CHUTE BOXE!

im sorry but this fight almost went like the cote fight and maia fights...

Dont get me wrong, Anderson is by far my favorite fighter. but belfort was too afraid to engage with him and anderson started doing his "epileptic" thing if you see where im getting at. But belfort did get KTFO'd.

Belfort was not afraid and Silva did not engage either and this is typical when 2 strong opponents face each other for the first time, the feeling out process. It was an odd/awkward kick and no one here has seen Anderson ever use that kick to the face on any other opponent so it was un-expected to say the least. Belfort was ready he just got cought by that kick and would not have been cought if it were a punch as he was completely geared for that as you saw by their breif exchange where Belforts hand speed and accuracy showed.

The more I think about this fight, the more badass that kick was...
