Can you tell us how to read this? I am having a bit of a hard time making out whats going on here. Can you break one down.

He did a bet on the Titans giving 3 points to the Jags and because the money line was -105 for TN meaning for every 105 you win 100, he put 21,000 on the line to win 20,000. The 30/3 is the final score, at least thats what I think that means and that was the final score of the game.

On another of his bets the 1st one being a hockey one. It was +155 meaning for every 100 you win 155 so thats why he won more than he put down.

If its -# it means giving points. In the football game TN was -3 meaning they had to win by 4 or more. If it was 3 then it would have been a push and if it would have been 2 or a loss then you lose.

The +# means they're getting points. If he had put money on Jax at +3 they could lose by up to 2 and they got hammered so it wouldn't have mattered.

sometimes a spread will be say 6.5 which is obviously not a whole number and you can't win a game by a half point. What that means is that there can be no push. Its big because say a spread is 7.5 to me thats a big deal because 1 TD is a lot easier to win by than say 2 scores. The 3.5 6.5 are the spreads you have to watch the closest in my book for football. 4.5 eh doesn't do much for me because its not often a FB game ends at 5 or 4..........but lots of games are decided by a field goal or a TD.

Yes and baseball is more confusing.

You have 2options when playing a favorite in baseball you can either lay (risk) the $ line which means your team has to win by 1 run or you can lay the run line which is always -1.5 runs which means your team has to win by 2 runs. This always makes the favorite the dog on the $line... And normally you are supposed to never bet on the home team laying 1.5 runs because the road team always gets 9inning of play while the home team only plays 8 innings if they have the lead. For example if the home team is winning 4-3 in the top 9th and they get out of the inning their is no bottom of the 9th. Tonight we broke the rules as the Yankees had to win.... On the $ line they were -170 meaning to win 100 you had to risk 170 ....we laid the 2runs breaking the rules and Yankees become a 130 dog so now your risking 100 to win 130 but they must win by 2 not 1 here's today's trade.
