- UFC 117 - Silva vs. Sonnen

This is the first UFC I've been pumped for in a bit. Excited to watch.
I have always had respect for Sonnen's determination, toughness, and wrestling. He's alot more interesting to watch them most wrestlers out there.
That said, with all this sh*t talking he's done I feel like shooting for the takedown he's going to get a knee everytime.
Silva ftw.
Alves vs. Fitch will be a winner get a title shot dealio. Pretty good, a little soon for Alves I'd say and that'd be a boring rematch. But I love him, lil' beast. Hope he wins.
Roy Nelson vs. Dos Santos. I would love to see big country pull it off.
Oh and I hope Matt Hughes loses to Almeida. Because he's a douche.

When I first heard the matchup Silva v Sonnen I thought it was a joke. Sonnen is good, hard working, but not in the league of Silva. His trash talk is just beyond dumb its embarrasing. I beleive he is so over the top with his comments in an attempt to create interest in an otherwise lopsided fight. I saw the Dana interview last week where he said if Silva pulled another one of his lack luster showboat routines he would can Silva. He said he was serious that he would flat out fire him.
Sonnen has stated all week long that if he can't be the absolute best he would rather quit the sport, I say, pack your bags Sonnen as you are about to get waxed as Silva has no other option.
Alves vs. Fitch, Alves is out to redeem his prior loss to Fitch 4 years earlier. Thiago is waay better than he was 4 years ago. Fitch has not improved as much. I feel sorry for Fitch as Thiago is a Thug on a mission.
Roy Nelson vs. Dos Santos. Interesting, on paper Dos Santos, in my heart the fat guy that no one ever gives a chance.
Matt Hughes v Ricardo Almeida. I don't care much for this matchup but I give the slight edge to Almeida as he has to return honor to the Gracie Academy.

What a fat head. Sonnen is now an MD who has diagnosed the cause of Armstron's cancer and has determined him to also be an unscrupulous profiteer of self caused misfortune.

I got excited when I thought the Silva meant Thiago Silva.

This is the sport of fighting everyone has a chance to win. You need a game plan to fight silva, that man is has a lot of obstacles to over come, his heigh, his arm and leg length, speed. Man has all the tools, Sonnen needs to muscle silva around and take him to the ground. If he wants to stand up with silva, i see silva picking him apart.
Im going wit the underdog and I hope sonnen wins.NiCKY NoLO'S Twitter|NoLo Enterprises|
