here is a pic of what I ended up getting, it's a giant OCR3 carbon fiber. I am putting some serious miles on it and I finally got used to the clipped pedals (after a few bruises and scratched knees lol)

I got up and rode 34 miles today. Not much by others standards, but considering I could not walk 34 feet exactly one year ago after surgery for testicular cancer, I'm pretty happy. Still adding miles.

    Later,
    Lee

I want to go for an as clean and simply as possible look, could use some suggestions concerning the "seat" (have no idea what it's called in english, lol ) and brakes ( just new pads and refinishig them? ) as well as the tires...
for saddle (seat) try the BROOKS line of leather saddles
for tires there are plenty to choose from but if its mostly for casual riding go with Vittoria Zaffiro or Conti GatorSkin (foldable bead)
