This bike gets most of the miles:

Used to do about 6,000/yr but knee problems have basically sidelined me the last 3 years.

Coi & Anon..We have El Moro here in our backyard and have hit Peter's Canyon a few times. I have a full suspension Gary Fisher "Joshua" with LOTS of mods and Coy has a Specialized Stumpjumper with all carbon fiber components...If anyone every wants to Organize a "Bike Run" just let us know...
Coi , Coy had a GT hardtail back when we were in Austin and liked the frame so he just upgraded to lighter components.

I might have to look into these short suggestions too. I usually just wear regular cotton shorts, and by the time I finish 10mi it looks like I've been sitting in a puddle.

Here's my ride. I had planned to do some single track with it, but ended up mostly road riding so I might get some more street friendly rubber this year.

    great bikes Bart and StreetPreacher!!!

as far as the shorts i found these padded liners: Canari Gel Bike Shorts Liner - Men's at REI.com
plenty of other choices there as well

i wear em under my board shorts or any loose shorts

picked up another ride...SE Racing Draft Single Speed, for some on-road fun!

sorry for the crappy iphone pics

I just finished modding to custom made flat bars/SE grips and FUBAR white pedals, plus i removed 99% of the graphics, just left the original stamp on the head and the Jones cycle shop sticker on the bottom of the down tube, up next: some magic film clear bra on the top tube

    stock

Does it have a flip-flop rear hub Coi?

I think I called that it wasn't going to be very long before you picked up something else as well.

Truthfully though, I dig the graphics on the SE bikes.
