If im not mistaken, LeBron has a clause in his Nike contract about a bonus for a major market. not sure if the Nets qualify (bk or not). If the Knicks DO get LeBron, it will be a lot easier to get support in NY than most other places. One other thing is, the Knicks are clearing up salary space for LeBron +1. Who can that +1 be? Perhaps Duane Wade? Ha ha - wishful thinking but i doubt it...it would be nice if he did become a Knickerbocker but i am not hopeful.

Im staying with the hometown team, so Bulls all the way....til 2nd round lol, hopefully the trophy ends up back in the east this year tho, Boston got some pretty good additions, and with Shaq on the Cavs that gives them some inside presence, at least an additional 14-15pts. That should help take alittle pressure off lebron so he can do his thing and hopefully his team shows up in the post season this year, at least against a +.500 team. Im not sure about Miami, but I know Orlando should be a tad bit better with VC, giving up that rookie Courtney Lee was a big mistake thoguh. And where the HELL is Tmac is he coming back this season or ever?

No there isn't a clause but what they are talking about is he would be more marketable in a larger market. The Nets do qualify because they are moving to Brooklyn in 2010

so how do we feel 2 weeks in?

looks like it's Boston/Orlando vs Denver/LA... did anyone really think Shaq would help? i poo poo'd Ariza last year, but i'm glad to see him taking advantage of his opportunity; looks like the Vince Carter/Ryan Anderson trade will do wonders for the Magic (if, for nothing else than Anderson - wow); i doubt the Heat nor Suns will keep it up; San Antonio isn't looking so hot; what else?
