You should have stopped at SEC FAN.... With Lane Kiffen as your coach, you will have ZERO respect in the SEC!

You have a believer that stanford football will be one of the biggest powers in a few years, with the 2009 recruiting class at #20 in the country, 2010 recruiting class at #5 in the country, and 2011 4-stars already verbally committing, Jim harbaugh has set the tone in the bay area for good football.

Don't know about "powerhouse" but they will contend.... USC is the only Pac-10 capable of being a powerhouse.... Look at ASU over the past 10 years.... Some amazing classes and great talent, but amounted to ZERO

VERY TRUE Mr Janko, ASU is one of the let-downs in the pac-10. But have you heard about USC's problems with the NCAA with recruiting and all that? They will probably receive around 20 or more lost scholarships for the next few years which will RUIN their football program, and i know none of us can wait till it happens. Alright alright, stanford football will have a winning record haha, i won't go as far as to say it will be a powerhouse. I think we can win the AXE back from cal this year though

USC will not be brought down.... Certain programs are needed and are BIGGER than the NCAA... Big J, the Rebels should be AWESOME this year, its possibly the make or break year for the program... If they dominate like they should, they could have GREAT recruiting classes for many years to come... Let's just say I'm not looking forward to playing at Oxford this year!

Sorry for the thread jack; but I am compelled to respond to a statement I find utterly lacking in foundation.

Is this information culled from internet chat boards managed by little green guys from Indiana; or Cubs wearing powder blue?

SC Football has a single pending NCAA inquiry related to Reggie Bush; the Basketball program has had some major issues. The football program is not losing "20 scholarships" (Is this what Coach Jimmy is telling his recruits to lure them away from the machine known as SC?)

SC is not going anywhere any time soon.

It's cute and all that Stanford has Captain Comeback as its coach, but if you want national titles and play with the Big Boys from the SEC and Big 12, you have to get Petey on board.

    Fight On.
