    Default Mayweather-Marquez fight delayed

Guess we gonna have to wait to see the comeback

Floyd Mayweather Jr., set to exit his year-plus retirement to face Juan Manuel Marquez on July 18 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, suffered a rib injury in training late last week, forcing him to postpone the welterweight fight on Sunday.

I don't know why he is fighting Marquez in the first place. I think he should go against Pac-Man. Look at this interview when the reporter asks him about that. He totally avoids the question. Don't get me wrong, Mayweather is my guy but I would love to see these two go head to head

Its his tune up fight for Pacman... Its already set that he will fight Pacquiao.. The bad thing is that as far as tune up fights go, marquez is no punching bag.. So it will be a test of his skills to prepare for pacman.
Also paquiao is taking some time off.. There are many names being mentioned now also.. Mayweather/mosley, Pacquiao/cotto, and in reverse order before the big money of paquiao/mayweather if they both were to win their bouts.. It would be and almost 40-70mil payday for the both (each) considering the hype it would create.

They can't agree on weight class. Mosley doesn't want to come down and Pac man can't/won't go up. Pac is in talks to fight Cotto now.
Seems like the fight was delayed due to ticket sales. The Pac/Hatton fight was sold out quickly. This fight with less than a month to go still has lots of available tickets.
Let's just skip all this and get to Pac/FM!

yea Pacman is already heavy for his size, he will not go up another weight class, dude the guy went from 112lbs to 145lbs....and dominated each weight class, what more can anyone ask for?

he's gonna kick Mosleys ass if they ever fought, but the Cotto/Pacman thing might be a good fight...of course Cotto would have to go down in weight

FMJ v Marquez would be a good one, if FMJ cant even beat Marquez then forget about Pacman hahahaha
