I didn't think there were any mountains in FL to bike?
Isn't the Miami dump the tallest "mountain" in the whole state?Time is a container... Fill with quality!

I finally picked up a new hardtail after not having a bike since last summer.

It's a 2008 Gary Fisher Piranha in Matte Pearl White, size 21". Stock for now except got some Forte ATB pedals that I had on my old bike and loved (not picture and all the reflectors and silly warning stickers are off). MSRP was $799, got it for $640 two weeks ago with 2 years of free tune-ups and wheel straightening. And I'm loving the Genesis frame geometry, a much better fit than my previous bike.
My previous bike was a 2001 Trek 4500, size 22.5" and it served me well for my needs. I took it with me to Poland last summer and left it there for future visits (a good excuse for a new bike).

NICE BIKES ^^^^^
as far as Miami dump being the tallest mountain...... we have "man made trails" one of them being Markham park which has been rated one of the deadliest trails to ride.
here is a couple minutes of Oleta River

I used to ride back in the day, sponsored and what not. It was a blast. I would love to get back into it. I used to do some downhill, but mostly cross-country, which included a ton of downhill, just not to the extreme of those posted by Markus in his video.
