I'm in SoCal. I ride dirt mulholland every weekend. Last weekend I did a nice jaunt from Topanga up dirt mulholland then all the way down Temescal Cyn. to Will Rogers Park in Palisades and all the way back.

thats me u cock yeah i flipped over the handle bars but i still did it and that pic is like a year old

man i miss riding, i have a stumpjumper spec' but looking into getting a full suspension. Screwed some disks in my lower back and have a pinched nerve and riding has been a big no no for the past few months

I decided that I need to get more exercise, and I used to love biking when I was a kid so I stopped on my way home from work today and picked up a new whip!



It's a 2009 Trek 4300 with disc brakes, in a powder coated matte black finish. It's only a middle of the line rig (didn't want to pony up for a carbon frame until I know i'll stick with it), but I took a quick spin this evening and it seems to be a great ride. Can't wait until the weather gets a bit nicer and I can hit some of the local trails!

Is that your bike esthete? Looks sick. I've got a norco 4by, specialized p2 and a trek 8000. Love mountain biking. I've been to whistler twice and the north shore 3 times and I can't wait to get back there. Nothing compares to the trails on the north shore of vancouver.
