Yeah I was suffering through the first half in good ol Section 21, absolutely frying in that Gainesville heat. The second half, thankfully I got a little bit of shade, and they started looking like what a Florida team is supposed to be. I'll do my best to be at every home game this year if anyone cares to join!

I just don't get it. These guys have most likely played football for a couple years before college and they still don't know the rules?

At least my Sooner's defense showed up to give a shut-out lol. I sure hope the O decides to start catching and giving Jones some pocket time.

Oregon and Louisville are looking really strong this year. Louisville ran all over Kentucky today, and Oregon demolished Arkansas State (50-10 in the first half). I see Oregon as a serious National Title contender this year. I love the way that team is run. Some real out-of-the-box thinkers on the coaching staff.

Oregon is definitely the coolest team to watch. That hurry up type offense is amazing. The conditioning their players have is unbelievable. However the new jersey every game thing is kind of a waste of money but if your sponsored by nike why not haha.

Anyone watch VT vs GT tonight? Most entertaining game of the opening weekend that I watched. Boneheaded play by Washington in OT, however. I felt it had a good chance to go on longer.

I watched the VT-GT game on Monday, of course.
I thought it was a bit boring for most of the game - our offense missed out on a lot of opportunities for more points. The 4th quarter and OT were pretty exciting though, and the defenses were playing pretty well on top of that. Paul Johnson's offense always makes for an interesting game.
I was out of town for the weekend, so I missed the rest of the games. Glad that football is finally back though!

UL-Monroe beats #8 Arkansas tonight. Incredible upset. Monroe hasn't beat a ranked opponent since 1980. And my Gators squeaked out a win. It's fine to be a 4th quarter team as long as you don't fall too far behind in the first three. I just think that will be damn near impossible with teams like FSU, Alabama, South Carolina, ect...
