This was to be a Lebron, Kevin Durrant thread, not Kobe. Kobe is a great player, he is. Lets stick to the topic-

Its a team sport, not an individual sport. SO cant put the full "RING" load on LeBron. Its not a one man show, you need a supporting cast. One player will not win a championship... a team will.

Ya, it is absolutely nuts to think Kobe should be MVP, its going to be Nash or Bron although Rose should have been in there as a top contender
The only number that matters, 4.

Derrick Rose missed to many games this season to be MVP, plus even with him out of the Line up the Bulls continued to play very well as seen from the records.Which doesn't help his cause much. It actually detracts from his reign. TOp contenders as of today are Lebron and Kevin Durrant. 3rd going to Chris Paul. Nash while playing well, is not on the level of Bron or KD.

I'm a fan of Kobe's work ethic and skill, but he's not the best team player.

I agree Nash isn't the best statistically nor the best point guard skill-wise, but he has 40 year old Grant Hill and the Phoenix YMCA in the playoffs.

No dice for the Suns, will not make playoffs this year with last loss to Nuggets.
