Default Reputable shops in the Melbourne fl area?

I'm not sure if anyone will know of any but I figured I'd ask. I never let anyone else touch my car, but there are some little things on the firebird I need to take care of and I don't have a garage or tools to do it myself. I'm going to need a trans fluid change soon, brakes bled(needs a gm tech pro 2) and eventually install some shocks and springs. I have no issue driving around an hour or so one way if anyone has a good solid reputation, or if there is a shop that rents lift time and tool time.

Rick Crane does f-body stuff and is a an old drag racing buddy of mine, he worked on my TransAm back in the day. He used to have a shop off of US-1. I unfortunately don't have his number on me, but if you ask other f-bod people in Melbourne they will probably know. Otherwise, Grip Industries off Eau Gallie is known mostly for imports but can do anything, that is IF you can get in bc they are usually backed up for months. If you have access to PAFB you can rent their lifts and tools for a very reasonable price.

Thanks for the tips, I've heard of grip but I know they are super busy and primarily an import shop, not that it really matters. I wish I had access to PAFB but I don't know anyone there and I don't think I could drive up to their gate and say hey bro I heard yall got some tools in there. Rick crane sounds familar, does he own a vette shop?

Edit: Just found contact info for Rick on ls1tech, its is about 7 years old but I'll give it a shot when the time comes haha maybe he will still be around.

jeez...that temptation is so unnecessary right now. I'm not even sure what grind I want to use. Time to do some research and see if it might be a spring thing instead.

I had a buddy that was big into American muscle a few years ago. I'll ask who he used. Glad to see another member in melbourne, honestly thought i was solo here.

Haha, well just a fair warning if you have an L4P sticker on your car and I see you out, I will honk, yell and whistle at you until you acknowlege me. I'm trying to track down Rick Crane still, a guy on LS1tech gave me an intersection that he is around but all I could find were some big dealers and then a residential area, I drive so little during school that it isn't a huge deal, I would just like to figure out what shop my car gets towed too if there is an emergency, or something.
