Thread: Does anything ever happen near Bradenton?

Really, Except for the Dupont cars and coffee all the way in Tampa, does anything go on around here? Most of the things I see are in south florida or around Miami. IT'S LONELY OVER HERE, GUYS.

sarasota now has its own cars&coffee, first sat morning of the month, 9-11am at suncoast porsche/audi. you can see pics posted a few threads down from the last meet 8/6

I hope something does because i might be headed to professional school there in 2012 if all fails/goes well at the same time lol

Moose maybe we can put something together at the Hooters or somewhere close to Bradenton. I went to the track Thurs. Night and that was lame.

we should get a monthly or bi-weekly cruise going... anyone down with that?
shows are ok, but i can only stand in a parking lot for 15-20 mins and im bored to death, id rather go driving.

Sarasota has a few exotic car shows and weekly meets. Most of the meets do involve standing in a parking lot until the ricer trouble makers show up . Check out srqracing.net (hopefully I could plug that)

There are a couple big car shows at the track every year. Not sure when the next one is, but I'll let you know.

There are the typical import/tuner meets here and there and like previously stated the newly formed Sarasota Cars & Coffee on the first Sat of every month (PM for more info, I'm the event founder) and then some big stuff every year.

I'm planning on adding a cruise and lunch after C&C once the weather cools off but I know people who would be down for a nice cruise if we can get one going.

I wonder how many L4P members are in the area. A monthly L4P meet could be interesting..

I have my Tampa Automotive Club with over 35 members all with exotic / sports cars. We are primarily based out of Tampa, but visit the surrounding area for shows and cruises.
